Tennis is largely an individual sport. Being in a team in tennis is rare, and it is
even rarer to be a part of a team as special as Hwa Chong Tennis. Off the
court, you’ll probably find us spending time together like heading out for
team dinners and laughing around.

When the going gets tough, the tough get going. In Hwa Chong Tennis,
you’ll meet some of the toughest people there are. On court, we’re driven
athletes that love sparring with each other, though there’s always time for a
good drop shot or tweener. Most importantly, we’ve got our eyes on the
prize in the next National School Games, making sure we maintain our
medal-earning streak.

As cliche as it is, this relatively small team is a group we can really call
family — people who work hard and play harder together.

Our training takes place 2-3 times a week, at our school’s 6 tennis courts!
You can expect intense drills, sparring sessions and even friendlies.
