About SSRC
Have a burning passion for science? The Students’ Science Research Club (SSRC) is made up of a group of students passionate in Science Research, united in the vision of fostering a cohesive and engaged scientific community in Hwa Chong. Besides organizing all science related activities including Meet-the-Scientist (MTS) sessions, lab visits, and the annual CenTaD conference, SSRC also organizes the International Science Youth Forum, a prestigious science enrichment programme for top research students from all over the world. Through these events, SSRC hopes that its members and the wider school community will better appreciate the value of research, and be inspired to build our future with Science!

Accomplishments
Typically 70% of our vibrant research students qualify for the finals of the annual Singapore Science and Engineering Fair (SSEF) and about 30% win medals. Also, a number of the research students are invited to compete overseas in Thailand, South Korea, Japan and the USA.
All SSRC members are also the organisers of the highly acclaimed International Science Youth Forum (ISYF).
